Hazel 0.3.0


Hello all, as some of you may know by now, 0.3.0 is out as of a few days ago, I plan on creating and sharing a roadmap in the coming week.

0.2 was a proof of concept, and 0.3.0 I would consider as the actual Prototype. (with a few extra bells and whistles) the UI is a little messy, and it needs to be stylized into the game. I am reaching out to potential pixel artists to speed up horny content, I will let you know as soon as something is concrete. I strive to provide a smooth and enjoyable gameplay experience, If you notice any bugs, or if something bothers you at all, let me know, I want to fix it. 

That said, I currently get one day (my weekend) to work on the game, so for now progress will be slow until my work schedule relaxes. Thank you all for your patience. Here are the update Features (I probably forgot quite a few of them)


- Title Screen, Settings, Key Rebinding, Save select screen, Save/Loading game files, Scene Selector, Level Selector

- Dialogue Box: Bare bones for now, but it's useful for talking through the mechanics of the game.

- Revamped drink making process: Drinks are now made entirely in the Bar, Ingredients are at your reach up or down. Drinks are now made via the "Drink Shaker" which you fill with liquid and shake till ready.(alternativley you just pour ingredients into the cup) Drink Orders are procedurally generated by customers based on current available ingredients, and the Order Tab shows you the name of the drink as well as how to make it. Drinks now smooth their color based on ingredients, allowing for more diverse color combinations.

- Kitchen has been temporarily removed, as all drink making happens in the bar.(will make a comeback in the future)

- Encyclopedia: can be accessed in the pause menu, it explains the different aspects of the drink making process if you don't remember from the new tutorial.

- Garnishes are now created by taking a fruit and cutting it with the knife

- Added SFX for a few actions such as dropping objects on the counter and shaking the shaker, and UI audio feedback

- Added object priority for grabbing items(more testing needed) basicly if there is an object in front of another object(example: ice box) the existing object has priority for interaction over the ice box. 

- Countless optimizations, CPU processing has been streamlined but I'm still looking for methods to optimize GPU processing. 


Some things of note:

UI still requires Mouse Input(left mouse button) to activate, I plan to fix this in a future update because it can become annoying to work with custom keybinds and be restricted with UI actions.
